Such efforts have made the world what it is now, which is considerable in light of the progressions that feminism has spearheaded.  Understanding such strides is vital if society is to create further progress in related issues.
Realizing the effect and value of feminism is essential for all, regardless of gender and other characteristics.  Feminism has come a long way in a short amount of time, providing strides of equality in a wide range of areas for women and men.
